HOW DO Neurotoxins work?
Botox / Jeuveau/ Dysport Cosmetic targets one of the underlying causes of frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines — the repeated muscle contractions from frowning, squinting, smiling and raising the eyebrows over the years. Your specialist will inject these muscles with Botox /Jeuveau/ Dysport Cosmetic to temporarily reduce muscle activity. You will notice a visible smoothing of the frown lines between your brows, your crow’s feet lines and your forehead lines.

HOW MUCH TIME DOES NEUROTOXINS TREATMENT TAKE? WILL IT HURT?
Your specialist will discuss your treatment goals and perform a facial analysis to determine the appropriate treatment areas for you. If the HCP deems you to be an appropriate candidate, the injection may take place on that same day. Some patients report that being injected with Botox Jeuveau/ Dysport cosmetic feels like a pinch. Your specialist may use ice to numb the treatment area. Or, if you are concerned about discomfort, your specialist may apply a topical numbing cream before administering your treatment.
Treatment requires minimal downtime. So, you can return to your daily routine immediately after you leave your specialist’s office.

WILL I SEE RESULTS QUICKLY? HOW LONG DOES COSMETIC LAST?
You may notice results within 24 to 48 hours, with full results in 14 days, with results lasting up to 3 1/2 months for moderate to severe frown lines. Remember that results vary from patient to patient though, so your physician will plan your next appointment based on your results and aesthetic goals.

HOW LONG IS THE RECOVERY TIME AFTER TREATMENT?
Treatment requires minimal downtime. So, you can return to your daily routine immediately after you leave your specialist’s office.

WHAT WERE COMMON SIDE EFFECTS SEEN IN CLINICAL STUDIES?
Three percent of patients experienced eyelid drooping in the frown lines studies, one percent of patients experienced eyelid swelling in the crow's feet studies, and one percent of patients experienced brow drooping in the forehead lines studies. Other possible side effects include dry mouth; discomfort or pain at the injection site; tiredness; headache; neck pain; eye problems: double vision, blurred vision, decreased eyesight and dry eyes; and allergic reactions. These are not all the possible serious side effects for Botox/Jeuveau/ Dysport Cosmetic.
WHAT COSMETIC FILLERS?
Cosmetic fillers are hyaluronic acid. Each product in the of fillers adds volume to a different area of the face—without surgery. All fillers are smooth, crystal-clear gels that are administered by injection in your aesthetic healthcare provider's office.

WHERE ARE COSMETIC FILLERS USED?
Different formulations are approved to either volumize cheeks, smooth parentheses lines, smooth vertical lip lines, or plump the lips. The results are subtle and long-lasting.cosmetic fillers softens moderate to severe parentheses lines and wrinkles by adding subtle volume around the nose and mouth. Other fillers add volume to the cheek area to correct age-related volume loss. Others add subtle volume to lips and softens the appearance of vertical lip lines.

DOES IT HURT?
Injectable gels contain pain-reducing lidocaine to help manage pain or discomfort during the injection. You may also ask your aesthetic healthcare provider about a topical numbing cream or ice to help further minimize discomfort.

WHAT IS THE AVERAGE TREATMENT COST?
The cost not only includes the price of the product but, more importantly, the skill and expertise of the specialist or healthcare professional who is administering your treatment. Look for someone who is licensed and trained and has experience treating patients be wary of discount products or “cheap” treatments —if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.it is more important to find an experienced specialist who will take the time to understand your treatment goals and develop a treatment plan that is right for you.

WHAT IS SCLEROTHERAPY?
Sclerotherapy is a microinjection procedure to treat spider veins. The procedure involves injection of a sterile solution (called a sclerosing solution) into the small veins using a very fine, thin needle. This solution irritates the vein lining causing it to undergo fibrosis and eventually disappear. Multiple veins can be injected at each session. The sclerosing solution used may be either hypertonic saline or sodium tetradecylsulfate.

CANDIDATES FOR SCLEROTHERAPY
Prior to sclerotherapy, you will have an initial consultation with a dermatologist or vascular medicine specialist who will decide if you're a good candidate for the procedure.

HOW MANY SCLEROTHERAPY TREATMENTS ARE REQUIRED?
It varies from individual to individual but typically 2-4 treatments are required for the best results. In patients with milder cases, 1-2 will suffice. The treatments are more when there are more veins or slightly larger veins.

DOES SCLEROTHERAPY HURT?
There is a little sting associated with each injection. The burning sensation lasts few seconds. Most individuals tolerate the procedure and do not require any type of anesthesia. The majority of patients claim that the procedure is much less than painful than what they anticipated.

HOW LONG DOES SCLEROTHERAPY TREATMENT TAKE GENERALLY?
Most individuals have multiple spider veins and only up to 15-20 injections can be done at seating. Each treatment session lasts up to 30 minutes. After the treatment, sterile dressings are placed over the injection site and the entire leg is covered with an ace bandage. The ace bandage is left on for 2-3 weeks until the patient returns to see the doctor.

Am I a Candidate for a Thread Lift?
The best candidates for our thread lift procedures are men and women who are showing the earliest signs of aging. Factors we consider when recommending a thread lift are:
Jaw prominence
Extent of bags or persistent puffiness under the eyes
Degree of sagging in the mid-face region

How are PDO Threads Lift Performed?
Surgical sutures are fed through the layers of skin. Once the sutures are positioned in the skin, they are pulled taut to create a lifted appearance and secured in place. You will see a noticeable difference right away. The sutures dissolve over the coming weeks while being replaced by natural collagen. We also perform a thread lift neck procedure using the same technique.

What is Recovery Like After a Thread Lift?
After your thread lift, the treated area may be tender, swollen, and bruised for a few days or longer, but will typically resolve on its own within a few days. Based on the extent of the thread lift, we may recommend that you rest at home for one to three days.
